Home News Current Projects Online Store Stories Photo & Video Ringtones Downloads Subscribe Links About Us	The Vintage Aviator Fighter Collection ANZAC Day WW1 Aerial Display 12:00PM - 4:00pm, 25th April 2009 Hood Aerodrome, Masterton, NZ   This second display by The Vintage Aviator Ltd is designed to commemorate Anzac Day, 15th April, the day marking the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. Vintage vehcile rides will be available from noon until 1:30pm, with the air displays starting at 1:30pm. Other activities on the programme include World War One-era games and competitions! The World War One aircraft of the Fighter Collection will be displayed in a series of handling displays and mock dogfights, accompanied by a full PA commentary of the afternoons activities. The public are asked and invited to attend in picnic style. Limited catering stalls will be available. The intention of the display afternoon is to fly and display as many of the Fighter Collection's aircraft as possible. Obviously the exact nature and number of aircraft displayed will be dependant on weather, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability, but look out for the new Avro 504k, B.E.2f and Fe.2b! Admission Adults: $20 Youth/Child: $10     Family: $50       Other pilots flying in to Hood Aerodrome on the 25th April to view the displays will be advised of approriate proceedures by NOTAM.
