If you were involved in the ground theatre action at CF '03, or you're really interested to want to see more of the ground action from the show, this disk is for you.   About The Companion Series DVD's The purpose of this range of disks is to provide airshow participants, and serious enthusiasts with access to more video footage from this great event. A single two hour 'Official Video' can never hope to present much of the action from a three day show, and in many cases, interesting video footage has to be left out. Unless this material is made available in some way, it will remain in the archives and will never see the light of day. Golden Micro feels strongly that we should give people the opportunity to see and purchase some of this footage, hence we have developed the idea of the 'Companion Series' disks, to give you that opportunity. We expect that the Companion Series disks will interest only a limited number of people. If you are one of those people, please remember that we have put a reasonable amount of time and effort into producing this disk, for your benefit and enjoyment. Please think seriously about purchasing your own copy of the disk, rather than banding together with others to purchase a single copy. It should be obvious that if we do not get the support for this product, in the form of sales, then it is highly unlikely that we will offer any of this type of 'extra behind-the-scenes' footage again, to the detriment of all.     Caveats Before you decide to purchase this DVD, please remember the following points: There is no narration. The audio you'll hear is the audio as it was captured by each of the cameras during filming.   We have made little attempt to edit the material together into a single, seamless narrative, as has been done for the Official Video. In the case of these Companion Series disks, at times you will see the same action, from different camera positions. This is a feature!   The quality of the footage contained on these disks is in general, lower than that of the official video (filming quality, not the actual visual quality of the footage, which is just as high). You will see bumps and knocks, and other blemishes in some of the footage, that would normally be removed from a commercial 'movie release'. However, for the 'home video' style of the Companion Series disks, this type of material is still important, and valuable to fully document the event.   -It is highly likely that these disks will only be available for a relatively short period of time.
