The FV101 Scorpion is a British armoured reconnaissance vehicle. Manufactured by Alvis, it was introduced into service with the British Army in 1973 and served until 1994.

A short clip of the Defence Forces Scorpion tracked reconnaissance vehicle during a shoot in the Glen of Imaal. The Scorpion is a vehicle used in the Cavalry Corps who are responsible for short and medium reconnaissance for the Defence Forces. The Scorpion has a main armament of a 76mm gun.
