Wings, Wheels, Tracks and Rails - Awesome Vehicle Video

The Historical Aviation Film Unit's free online video channel contains over 1000 free-to-view aviation, military vehicle, reenactment, history and motorsport videos. We've got everything from replica aircraft from 1910 through to high speed modern jet fighters, Formula 5000 V-8 racing cars, tanks, armoured cars and other military vehicles, and a variety of reenactments from the Napoleonic Wars in the early 19th Century through to the Vietnam war.

Since 2001 we've been filming and photographing historical aviation, military vehicle and motorsport subjects all over New Zealand, and in more recent times elsewhere throughout the world as well.

Being enthusiasts of the subjects we shoot means that we bring a certain sensibility to our videos which our viewers enjoy. We want the same things that you do when we watch our videos, so we're more particular about making good quality clips, where you can hear the engine noise, and see the aircraft and vehicles in action.

In addition to our online video channels, some of our best material is also available on DVD and Blu-Ray from the HAFU Online Store, including in NTSC formats for those of you in North America who often miss out when material produced in Australia, New Zealand or the UK is only available in our native PAL (TV) format.

Check out this video clip of some of the awesome highlights on our online video channel, and remember that this is a tiny fraction of our piblished material -- there's much much more to see and watch on the channel.

If you'd like to watch our videos on the big screen, in high-definition, our affordable subscription channel, "Historical Machines TV", contains many of our videos in full 1920 x 1080 resolution -- just great for watching on your lounge room TV. In addition there are longer form videos, and some material on The Machine Channel which are not available on our free-to-view channel.
